The Miiller Family has been making sausage in the Texas Hill Country area for many generations. Growing up on the family farm near Llano, Texas, I, Bryan Miiller, used to plead with my dad to stay home from school so I could help make sausage. (And I did.)
The fascination with and love for making sausage turned into an opportunity in 1985. After graduating from Texas A&M, I bought a small meat company in Llano. The new company, Miiller's Meats, processed beef, pork, and deer while also making lots of sausage. The sausage end of the business kept growing and improving until we out grew our small facility.
In 2002, Miiller's Meats became Miiller's Llano Smokehouse and we moved into a new state-of-the-art facility on Highway 29. This is our present location. We now produce and ship out or sale in our retail store over 10,000 lbs of sausage a week.
Some of our recipes are still the original German versions while others have been modified to meet modern day demands. At present we produce over 30 different kinds of sausages for our customers. We also have a wonderful variety of other smoked meats that will tempt any appetite.
We are committed to manufacturing only the finest quality sausages and smoked meats. Our meats and ingredients are carefully selected to maintain the highest standards for our products. Our sausage products have won numerous awards over the years at the Texas Association of Meat Processors Competitions. We look forward to serving you in any way we can.
